What is Included?
Includes: Ground travel, premier lodging, user fees, equipment rentals, activity (listed in itinerary) and all meals.
Excludes: Flights, drinks, travel / personal insurance, gratuities, add-on activities or days (single rooms are additional, prices subject to change).
Day 1 – Rendezvous
Fly into Denver, CO and take a shuttle to Estes Park: gateway town to Rocky Mountain National Park. Relaxed welcome dinner and trip overview.
Day 2 – Rocky Mountain National Park
Dash off for a morning shot of the mountain reflections upon beautiful Bear Lake. Hike up in elevation towards Elberta Falls, passing numerous alpine lakes.
Day 3 – Trail Ridge Road and Independance Pass
Drive above the trees through the heart of the park where big horn sheep and elk are commonly seen. Continue over two more passes including Independance Pass, the highest paved road in Colodao at over 12,000 ft (3,600+ m).
Day 4 – Maroon Bells Lakes and Wilderness
An early morning shuttle ride to the most photographed location in Colorado, the Maroon Bells. These gorgeous peaks rise over 14,000 ft (4,200+ m) above the alpine landscape, casting their inspiring reflections on Maroon Lake below. An optional hike will afford additional views, including Pyramid Peak.
Day 5 – The Backroads to Crested Butte
Travel the less-traveled and absolutely stunning mountain “back” roads and through two wilderness areas. Arrive in Crested Butte, Colorado’s Wildflower Capital and explore the town—snapping shots of the colorful buildings & landscape.
Day 6 – 4×4 Jeeping & Scenic Alpine Vistas
Venture further off-road in Jeeps into the mountains to capture unique and dramatic landscape and wildflower photos.
Day 7 – Biking and Hiking
Ride the lifts of Crested Butte Ski Area for a morning of hiking and peak photos. For extra adventure, ride the single track trails down the mountain on full-suspension mountain bikes. Travel back to Denver over scenic mountain highways.
